A fierce competitor known for her one-arm push-ups, high kicks and mid-air
straddles, Sherlyn Roy is a star of women’s fitness and bodybuilding.  The IFBB Pro and former 49er’s Gold Rush Cheerleader has won numerous championship titles including Miss NPC Team Universe Figure Overall Champion, Miss Women’s Tri-Fitness Physique World Champion, Miss NPC Fitness California, Miss Junior California Figure Champion, Miss Fitness America ESPN Series Champion, Miss Northern California Fitness America Champion and Mixed Pairs National Aerobics Champion. Roy had the honor of making her Pro debut at the 2009 Arnold Classic Figure International and graced the stage at the 2009 Figure Olympia.

Creating one of the most advanced fitness and training programs in the country, Roy’s programs are designed to speed up your metabolism so that the body can utilize food correctly and gets the maximum results in the least amount of time.  Her programs have been successful for her high profile clientele of Hollywood executives and celebrities, such as Ian Ziering, voted “Best Abs in Hollywood ’08,” former president of ABC network, Stephen McPherson, President of Sony Sales and Distribution, John Weiser, and the cast of “American Gladiators.” As the national spokesperson for Instructionalfitness.com, she continues to educate the fitness community through her video instruction, video Q & As, bi-monthly newsletters and regular blogs.  She has also been published as a fitness expert by magazines such as Oxygen, Eating Right, and Reps! Magazine.

Roy has graced the pages of magazines like “Oxygen”, “Muscle Mag International”, “Planet Muscle”, “Swimwear Illustrated” and “Muscular Development.”  Additionally, Roy has performed as principal dancer with Carlos Santana, Tony Bennet, Super Bowl XXIX and a USO Good Will Tour in Korea.  She has been featured on Entertainment Tonight, and Extra and was co-host of American Muscle on ESPN.    Her charitable work includes performing for Susan Komen Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and AIDS Foundation to name a few.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Roy grew up in Sunnyvale, CA and has an AA in Speech Communications and a BA in Mass Media Communications. A former San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush cheerleader, Roy was a dancer since the age of 4 and was trained in hip-hop, jazz, tap and ballet. At 15 she began training in a gym, lifting weights and working out.  At 18 she began competing in fitness competitions.
